Kualifikasi :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical discipline in Agricultural Science.
• Minimum 5 years related to agriculture experience.
• Systematic and organized.
• Good analytical thinking and planning with the ability to use PowerPoint & Excel are a pre-requisite.
• Ability to innovate, inspire, and introduce change.
• Strong leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented personality who thrives working in a dynamic environment.
• Strong work ethic and desire to achieve excellence.
• High detail-oriented and meticulous.
• High mobility is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with cooperatives and plantations to scout and identify suitable land for cultivating plant fibre crops such as abaca, bamboo, kenaf, ramie, etc…
2. Source and ensure an adequate supply of quality seeds for planting and cultivation of plant fibre crops.
3. Government and R&D collaboration: Establish connections and partnerships with government organizations, research and development institutions, and agricultural agencies to access resources, funding, and expertise in the field.
4. Conduct in-depth feasibility studies to assess the viability of plant fibre cultivation, considering factors like market demand, cost-benefit analysis, ecology footprint, and environmental impact.
5. Develop strategies for efficient utilization of resources, such as land, water, and labor, to maximize crop yield and minimize waste.
6. Plan and establish modern farming techniques and processes to optimize the efficiency of planting, crop maintenance, harvesting, and processing of plant fibre crops.
7. Work on improving farming practices to enhance crop yields, quality, and sustainability.
8. Identify sources of agricultural byproducts that can be utilized for value-added materials and negotiate procurement agreements.
9. Develop and manage budgets for various aspects of the operation, including nursery, farming equipment, crop maintenance, labor, research, etc…
